Waterproofing – Birchgrove, Sydney
This property had a verandah that was leaking into the lower levels of the property. After removal of old tiles it was discovered the waterproofing membrane on the edges was inadequate in some sections due to the flooring height.
THE RESULT:
Apply 3 coats of water proofing with mesh edging.
Screed waterproofed area for flow to grated drain area.
Epoxy prime & one coat of water-based membrane applied to screed surface.
Re- tile surface – tile inlay floor grate to improve drainage.
Apply 2 sealer coats to tiling & sikaflex door sill section.
